The Galway drama club is performing Shrek the Musical this year. Although most of us have laughed about all the memes and auto tuned things, the play is a lot different. There is a lot more dancing and a lot less Smash Mouth. Shrek the musical, for those who didn’t know follows the story of an outcast ogre named Shrek, his talking donkey and the beautiful princess Fiona. Shrek is trying to get his swamp back from Lord Farquad by rescuing princess Fiona from a fire breathing dragon. Along the way Shrek Donkey and Fiona face many challenges including questioning who they are and who they should be with. Come and see the show!! April,2,3,4.
