Congratulations to Mrs. Jennifer Gerber, Health teacher, for earning the honor of WNYT’s Top Teacher. She was nominated in the fall by two students, Rachel Reichard and Kayla Aschmutat.

“Mrs. Gerber is very deserving of the award. She does a lot for all of us, not just the Lunch Ladies, but for all of her students,” Reichard explained.

Kayla Aschmutat agrees. “I think she’s such a caring teacher.  I’ve had rough times that she’s helped me through. We need a teacher like that in Galway that really cares for you and helps you. She’s a great teacher too. Her class is never boring and she always makes them fun. It’s never the same thing every day, it’s always something different.”
