Sawyer will win

Sawyer Fredericks  is obviously the better choice in The Voice. Sawyer sings soulful songs like “Simple Man” and “Man of Constant Sorrow.”  His rendition of the song ‘Iris” by the GooGoo Dolls has won him the number one slot on the rock category Itunes and the number four slot overall.  He has been ambitious in covering Gavin DeGraw, Ray LaMontagne, John Lennon, Christina Perri and Buffalo Springfield–each time creating an original sound with his voice.

Sawyer is also the youngest on The Voice. Sawyer is 16 years old and has made it all the way to the semi-finals. Sawyer is also a local Upstate New Yorker. He lives in Fultonville on a family owned farm called Windrake Farm. It would be amazing for a young man at age 16 years old to win, but it would be really spectacular to see a person from a local region become a famous singing sensation.  In my opinion, Sawyer can easily defeat Joshua Davis and Megan Lindsey, and though Koryn Hawthorne is a strong opponent with a strong voice, Sawyer seems to have it all going on–a soulful voice and good judgment in music. Watch The Voice on NBC channel 13 at 8:00 pm tonight to hear some good music and see some celebrity guests.  Watch Tuesday night and vote for Sawyer.  His coach Pharrell Williams, who sings “Happy,”  is ready to clap along with all of us as Sawyer’s name is announced as the winner!
