For the love of Disney and siblings!

For the love of Disney and siblings!

My sister Cheyenne and I share a birthday.  That makes life easier, being able to celebrate two birthdays at one time.

When I was turning 5 and my sister was turning 11, my mother had a conference to attend some where in Florida around the time for our birthdays.  As a result, my mom and a co-worker friend devised a plan.  The plan was to fly Cheyenne, my dad, my mom’s co-worker’s wife Maureen and me to Disneyland.  And one of the days we would go to Universal Studios.

The day we got to Florida we didn’t do much. We spent the the remaining part of the day in the pool and hot tub.

The second day we spent in Disneyland.  We rode roller coasters, took pictures with costumed people.  Then, we ended the night with dinner and cake from a restaurant in Disneyland because we were celebrating my sister’s and my birthdays.

We spent the third day riding roller coasters at Universal Studios.

The fourth day we played gator golf, which is mini golf with a pond of baby alligators all around you.  At the end, we feed the alligators.  After that, we had to fly back home.

The two roller coasters that I remember from Disneyland were a Walking with the Dinosaurs one and  Yeti one.  I rode both of them twice.  In the Walking With the  Dinosaurs one, I hid behind a white stuffed animal I got when the dinosaur came out.  Then, the second time I rode the Yeti, I had face paint on and I thought it would scare the Yeti, but it didn’t.  I guess Yetis are not afraid of butterflies.
