Blood Cancer United is a nationwide charity that helps raise money to fund blood cancer research in hopes of finding a cure for this life altering disease. Cassandra TenEyck and Sophia Fiorillo are on a fundraising team called  “Stronger than Cells” and they need your help to meet their goal.

Cassie explains why she has joined this effort on her fundraising page:

I joined Blood Cancer United because I want to help find a cure for blood cancer, but most of all, I want to help give people hope. I grew up surrounded by people who supported me through everything, and I’m forever grateful. Other people aren’t as lucky. When going through cancer, people are stuck in doubt that things will never get better, but giving people hope and a positive spirit so that they know they can get through these battles truly means something. Everyone deserves to live a life without having to worry about the cost of treatment or being defined by the word “cancer”. When it comes to donations, even a little can mean a lot, and we can’t do this without your help.
