The Book Fair
The Book Fair was a recent event that was hosted by PTSA. There was an Elementary Book Fair and a Middle School Book Fair. The Elementary Book Fair was held from May 7th till May 12th in the LGI room. The Middle School Book Fair was held from May 11th to May 12th in the Elementary library. In the Elementary Book Fair, PTSA gave each kid a free book that was priced up to $10 that they wanted. In the Middle School Book Fair, PTSA gave each kid $5 off any book that they wanted.
Most people might say that The Book Fair is only about books, but they are WRONG! You could get other things there too, like journals, diaries, pens, erasers, posters, calculators, science kits, bookmarks, and 3-D printed snakes. The Bookapalooza was an after school event for The Book Fair. The Bookapalooza’s theme this year was Dr. Seuss. The event was from 5:30PM to 7:30PM. There was food, drinks, a balloon show, The Book Fair, and coloring sheets for kids and parents to have some fun. Also, the girl scouts and boy scouts played a game with the kids there too.
In closing, the Book Fair was a HUGE success! A lot of volunteers were involved. The volunteers were the people who made The Book Fair possible. So make sure to give a big “THANK YOU!” to the volunteers. The next Book Fair will be in October…hope to see you there!
