Best Ski Mountains Near Galway, NY

There are lots of great Ski Mountains near Galway. Here is a list of my top five.

5 – Willard Mountain

Willard is a great mountain for beginners. Its a very small mountain with not a lot of trails but it’s still pretty fun if you’re new to skiing.

4 – Royal Mountain

Royal Mountain is a bit smaller than Willard, but it has about as many trails and the lifts are pretty fast.

3 – West Mountain

West Mountain has three lifts, a lot of trails and is the mountain for Ski club. West is really fun and has very long trails.

2 – Oak Mountain

Oak has a lot of trails and the people there are really nice. Oak is a great place to go skiing.

1 – Gore Mountain

Gore has a ton of trails and over a dozen lifts. It’s a great place to go skiing and is my favorite mountain I’ve gone to.  Gore is the largest mountain in NY, and 7th grader Wyatt Slosek agrees that this is the best mountain near Galway.
