1: The Burbs starring Tom Hanks

This is a comedy/spoof of horror movies and suburban life. This is mainly focused on a new weird family moving into the suburban neighborhood and then strange things occurring after. It is really a great movie because of the humor, making fun of life in complexes and how superstitious some people get in those neighborhoods.

2: Jaws by Steven Spielberg

This is Spielberg’s 2nd movie and a true masterpiece. It really shows how Spielberg can make something scary even when special effects didn’t exist. This is especially great to watch around Halloween because the killer shark really leaves people in suspense. 

3: Watch all of Stranger Things. This is a great pick for Halloween because of its horror vibes and its stellar storyline and effects. The show is terrifying, funny and suspenseful all in one, and almost every episode is a cliffhanger for the next in my opinion .This is also great to watch soon because of the new season coming out in late November.
