Here is what Patchy looks like so far, as well as our soldering practice kits and the controller used to guide the robot!

Have you ever wanted to try making a robot that could do underwater tricks? Or learn new skills like cutting PVC pipe and soldering? If you did, Seaperch Robotics is the perfect activity for you!

Every Sunday, the Robotics club gathers at the Galway Public Library to assemble their self-made robot, Patchy THE CLAW. (Yep! That’s the exact name and spelling of our robot; my brother made it up.)

Our team is making great progress, since we have already attached the control panel and programmed the motors! All we have to do now to prepare it for underwater testing is to connect the propellers to guide the movement of our robot.

Our next session is June 1st, which is only a day away!
