i wonder

if the world would be better

if we could make love a requirement

make it a law

and it would read:

“everyone must love the person next to them,

 no matter who they are,

or where they’ve been,

or anything else”

i was gonna write a poem about masking

But I feel like dream has already ruined it for me.

i do not care what you think of me

or my clothes

or my attitude

I care about being written in a history book one day.
