The Results of the National Election Compared to Our School Election

Now that the election has been called after four long days, we can compare the results to that of our school election. This is just a quick recap, articles on policies and what this means for our country will come along to emc shortly.

For Member of Assembly, 112th District: Mary Beth Walsh won in both the school wide election and real life election.

For State Senate, 49th District: James Tedisco won in both the school wide election and real life election.

For Representative in Congress, 21st District: Elise Stefanik won in both the school wide election and real life election.

For President and Vice President: Donald Trump and Michael Pence won in the school wide election, however Joseph Biden and Kamala Harris won in the real life election. The election was called earlier today, November 7th, when the electoral votes for Biden passed the 270 threshold, the amount needed to win the election. Kamala Harris now makes history as the first woman, black person, and Indian American, to serve as vice president.
