We all have those days where you want to avoid your homework at all cost and watch something online…well that’s more like an everyday type thing. See everybody I am a Netflixist. Yes I am aware that isn’t a word, but here I’ll give you the definition: Netflixist- a believer in Netflix; one who watches a lot of Netflix. So being the Netflixist I am, I have watched hours upon hours of Netflix. So here is the guide to what you have to watch on Netflix and yes this is biased. Enjoy.

Friday Night Lights:
If you like football, crying and people with really good faces this is the show for you. “Friday Night Lights” follows a football team in Dillion, Texas. In the pilot episode the first-string quarterback Jason Street gets in a terrible football accident that leaves him permanently paralyzed forcing the head coach, Coach Taylor, to put in his second-string quarterback Matt Saracen. I promise you this show is not all about a macho boys’ football team. The show has drama with twist and turns at every corner. I can also guarantee you that the same thing doesn’t repeat itself such as shows like “Gossip Girl” and “The Vampire Diaries”…yes I went there. Just watch the first episode of this show and I promise you that you’ll be hooked.

Tomorrow When The War Began:
This movie puts “The Hunger Games,” “Divergent,” and “Red Dawn” to shame. The basis for this movie follows seven teens in Australia who go on a camping trip for a weekend for a short vacation. During their trip their country is taken over by an outside force creating chaos. When the group returns all of their families are missing and the town is in ruins. Once they discover what is truly going on they do their best to fight back to free their families. The movie is part of a seven book series that I am reading. This movie will keep you on the edge of your seat while rooting for the underdog.

The Secret Circle:
This show is absolute amazing and it amazes me how it was canceled after one season on cable. The show is about a young girl, Cassie, who’s mother was just murdered and she is now being forced to move in with her grandmother in a small town. Cassie learns that she is part of a witch circle started by six peers. Basically this show is a bunch of hormone crazy teenagers who have magical powers. This show is hot, suspenseful, creepy and exciting. There is the classic love triangle with betrayal. Lies are tied around the families that birthed the six teenagers and every episode will have you clicking the next before that ten seconds are up.

American Horror Story:
Honestly, this is a given and I shouldn’t even have to explain what this show is about but then again I really, really like talking about this show. Every season is a different story. Currently on Netflix you can find seasons one and two..don’t worry season three is expected to be released soon. Season one is “Murder House,” which honestly I couldn’t even finish because I was too freaked out. The title for this season is pretty self-explanatory it’s about a murder house with extremely disturbing romances. Season two is about an insane asylum and let me just tell you this season was insane. The problem with this show is I can’t really tell you anything about it without giving away multiple spoilers. Just watch the show and you won’t regret it.

Keith:
Did your loser boyfriend just break up with you? Do you not have an ounce of a love life? Well lucky you, this movie was handcrafted for you. This is a move about a romance between the usual stuck-up princess like girl and the misunderstood boy. But boy, oh boy this movie will make you bawl your eyes out and you will need more than one box of tissues. I can’t exactly tell you why because well that would ruin the evil surprise. This romance story is funny and witty and you’ll be laughing till you cry until you are actually crying. If you are ever in the mood to watch a movie that’ll make you cry and wish you had a boyfriend this is the move for you. Plus who doesn’t want a little throwback with Jesse McCartney?

So there you go, five movies and TV shows to satisfy your need to waste time. I also do realize that there are endless movie and TV shows that are worth so much and more but if I had to write all about them I wouldn’t have time to finish season two of “Friday Night Lights.”
