CAPITAL REGION–One of the beauty gurus whose videos I subscribe to on YouTube mentioned drinking a Cotton Candy Frappuccino from Starbucks. MacBarbie07 claimed that this amazing item is on the Starbucks Secret Menu. Whoa.. what?!  There’s a Secret Menu?

So of course I do what most people would do and I go to Starbucks and ask for a Cotton Candy Frappuccino. The barista looks at me like I’m crazy, so I quickly change my order to something actually on the menu and immediately Google Cotton Candy Frappucinno.  Turns out to actually get one from Starbucks, you have to order it a special way… who knew? What I was supposed to do was ask for a Vanilla Bean Frappuccino with a pump of raspberry syrup (two pumps for a large or extra large).  So, on my next Starbucks trip I ordered like one in the know about these types of things and guess what? It tasted exactly. like. cotton. candy. Just let that sink in.  And I was so excited I tried to take a selfie with the Cotton Candy Frappuccino and broke my phone!

So this is actually a legitimate thing people do on the Internet. They post countless combinations of tastes such as Nutella, Captain Crunch, Strawberry Lemonade, Oreos, and even Cake Batter. This is what is known (or maybe not so known) as the Secret Menu of Starbucks. People just keep creating and sharing… it’s one of the better things available on the Internet!
