GALWAY– Goergen was recently recognized by CBS6 for the Personal Best Award. She was profiled in a special 6:30 news segment on May 27. and on the evening of June 4, Goergen visited the studio with one of her friends, Sabrina Williams, and her father, Lee Goergen.

Kayleigh received a special plaque to commemorate the honor, as seen in the photo in the Galway High School hallway. Kayleigh and Sabrina were also able to go in the news studio, sit at the anchor desk and try out the position of weather girls.
