GALWAY–The Galway High School digital courses, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator, worked collaboratively to create a coloring book for the Galway EMS to hand out to the children of the town. This illustration projected a message of street safety to help teach while inspiring creativity. The Galway EMS, under the representation of Captain Mike Jazwinski and Herb Kopper, has worked with Miss Mierzwa’s program since the opening of the pro-bono curriculum. They have allowed the students the privilege to generate meaningful works that range from their new logo to the current coloring book production. Such an honor is not only an asset to add to their resumes, but provide valuable real-life experiences of client relations in the graphic world. Miss Mierzwa and her students are overwhelmed by such a wonderful and generous gift to the program.
