GALWAY–Earth Day may have passed but the science club is still doing there part to better our environment, once again the Science Club will be hosting an electric waste drive on Saturday May 4th. The drive will run from 9 am to 1 pm in the High School parking lot. Take a break from your day to stop by and drop off old electronics for free including:

Computers, Monitors, Printers, Scanners, Fax Machines, Copiers, Cables, All Computer parts and accessories

TV’s (under 40 inches), Radios, VCR, DVD Player, MP3 Player, CD Players, Stereo Equipment, Calculators

Cell Phones, PDA’s, Smart Phones, All parts and accessories

Curling Irons, Vacuums (please empty contents), Hair Dryers, Toasters, House Phones

Ink and Toner Cartridges for your printers (Please put ink cartridges in a plastic zip bag)

Microwave ovens

Any Rechargeable Battery or Car Battery (cannot be damaged or leaking)

Almost anything with a card

Phone Books, Newspaper (please tie), Cardboard, SNEAKERS

You may call TVR if you are unsure about your item at 518-877-9800

ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED AT THIS EVENT THAT HAVE A SMALL CHARGE CAN BE BROUGHT TO THE FACILITY

Such as:
Air conditioners $10
De-Humidifiers $10
Fluorescent Bulbs and CFLs. Call for pricing.
And Mercury Containing Item

TV’s over 40 inches will not be taken at this event but can be brought to our facility during open hours:

    If people put forth the effort to recycle their items, I think a lot of money can be raised for the effort.
