GALWAY–During my short period of existence on this humble planet we call Earth; I have been inspired by many people and things. Some have been much more inspiring then others, but they all have contributed somehow in my life. I also have learned many important lessons. This is my main inspiration and some of the lessons that I have learned…

One person who inspires me is James Patrick Page. You may ask yourself, who is this? Well, you might know him better as Jimmy Page, legendary guitarist, and the backbone of Led Zeppelin. He has inspired me in many ways. Jimmy has inspired me to never give up, have your own opinion, and that sometimes you shouldn’t always listen to what people say. When he was first forming The New Yard Birds, many people, musicians, and critics thought that the band was going to go nowhere. Even Keith Moon from The Who thought that the band was going to “sink like a Lead Zeppelin.” Well he took that as a challenge, and renamed The New Yard Birds, Led Zeppelin. Zeppelin was, and still is one of the most famous bands ever that has earned, a “Whole Lotta Love.” This is why he inspired me to never give up, and not to always listen to others.

I have learned many lessons in my life, and one big lesson that I have learned is to stay organized. I used to be horribly disorganized, but now I have gotten better, granted I am still unorganized with some things. Mrs. O has help me greatly this year, by giving us work folders, and having us use journals. I have also been much more organized with my notes in chemistry and math this year, and I can honestly say, it has helped quite a lot. Someone else who has been a big influence on me becoming organized is Mr. Darlington. He has helped me stay on task and become more aware of different projects and deadlines.

The last lesson that I have really learned is to treat others as you wish to be treated. My dad told me that when I was young, and I have always lived by that. He is like that too. He always helps people, no matter what they need. So it has been pretty easy to live by. Generally it usually works, because I’m nice and helpful to basically everyone, and most people are nice to me and help me when I ask for help. Just ask some of my friends, I’m a pretty decent person, and they all treat me well! This is the most important lesson that I have ever learned though, I believe.
