GALWAY– 26 THOUSAND?? 26,995 TEXTS?! WHAT??!!
In the month of February I sent exactly 26,995 text messages. Every other month since December has been right around 20,000 texts a month. If you average that out between 30 days a month, that’s around 666 messages a day! It may sound extremely ridiculous, but I think it’s totally acceptable to text that much.
My mom, on the other hand, thinks it’s a little much. I don’t blame her, it sounds like a lot. I start texting from the minute I wake up until the second I go to sleep. That’s usually about sixteen hours. 666 texts is not that much for that many hours. Especially if you only send three or four replies all day! That could go on forever!
Last month I broke my screen on my phone and my mom brought it to AT&T. The guy that was talking to my mom gave her a hotline number for people who are addicted to texting, to give to me. Apparently it’s a lot!
I think it’s normal for a teenager to text all day! It’s the only way to stay connected with everyone else! It only becomes a problem if it takes up your time to do other things. I admit 20,000 is a big number, but I think that is 100% ok!

How does one send 666 messages in a day… On the weekend, maybe, but durring the school day…. I think someone is breaking the rules… HAHAHA

Yes! It is a lot but i think you’re fine with that. Of course you think to yourself “oh my gosh thats a big number!” but you just texting and make that number go higher!

Carley, i text more than that a month, lol. I love to text its so much fun. lol. Last month was almost 28,000 text messages. Its crazy how much people text and they don’t realize it, lol.

Gosh!!!! I send 5 to 10 a day. Texting that much ruins your brain. You also never get anytime to play sports, hang with friends, or do anything else.
