Christmas cookies make the day sweeter

Galway Junior/Senior High School’s faculty and staff brought in dozens and dozens of cookies for the students. “It was a nice surprise coming down and seeing all the cookies for us,” commented one junior. Rebecca Atkinson said, “I thought it was nice and thoughtful. We’ve never experienced this before. It was a great way for them to say Merry Christmas to us.” Alana Phelps shared, “The chocolate dipped pretzels were amazing! I thought it was very generous for people to take their time to make cookies for the students.”

The cookies and candy was a great idea. I think it helped bring up some much needed holiday cheer to the school. I was surprised at the total amount of cookies that were brought, so far they have lasted almost all day. Each person at the school was able to have a few cookies each. The school staff did a great job, they were delicious.
