I second laras vote to allow ethan to have the parking space. he is a dedicated EMS member and he will do anything to get to a call safely and quick. I too have also seen him dart from the bus over to his truck in the lower lot and i think he would benefit alot from having this parking space.

I think I should get the parking spot because I am a volunteer fire fighter. If an emergency should arise I need to be able to get to my vehicle as quick as I can to get to the incident. It would make it quicker for me to get to those accidents.

I bring my sister to school and we have to be early twice a week for GTV. It’s hard to be early coming from the lower lot. Also, we have to look professional on GTV and sometimes it rains and on our way up to school we get soaked.

I should receive the parking space because I’m in the top ten of my class. I’ve a clean record, no accidents or tickets. I respect drivers and pedestrians. It would be a privilege to park in the upper lot. I’d do my best to show that if given to me.

I vote that Brianna Rogers should get the parking spot in the upper lot, because is a responsible driver and even picks up additional involved students on the way to school to ensure they have a safe travel experience to and from school. Who could be a better candidate!

I think Ethan Genier should get one of the upper lot parking spaces since he’s a part of EMS. I’ve seen him run from the Boces bus to his truck as his beeper goes of, quite a few times. Ethan has an important responsibility, and Galway High school should accommodate that.

I Brianne Rogers, deserve to win the EMC parking spot contest. Parking in the lower lot and having to walk up the hill is not something desired, especially after it’s rained and I have to try and park my beautiful white blazer around all the puddles that accumulate and take over the lower lot. But that is nothing compared to the winter time when it’s all either slush that ruins your shoes or ice, it’s painfully cold and a nightmare to walk all the way around to the walkway while trying not to freeze! I am actively involved in a lot of activities and do a lot for the school; I participate in three varsity sports all year round, am co-president of the student senate, head of media for yearbook committee, and press secretary for JSA. I also bring to school two girls who also do two and three varsity sports a year, and participate and hold positions in various clubs throughout the school. We all do a lot for the school and I believe that people should be rewarded for good deeds they do and active participation, this being in the school environment especially. So in your decision to choose the winner in this contest, please highly consider me for the spot because you won’t regret it!
