When people think about FFA they just think about “Future Farmers,” but it’s so much more than that. FFA is a brotherhood were you make friends from all around the state and even the nation. You get to converse about how important agriculture is in order to maintain a strong economy. With cows there would be no milk, and without fertilizer and soil. we wouldnt be able to support our crops that help fuel the people in this country.
As a member in FFA, I participate in the floral culture competition which is a competition against 60 other teams fighting to go to nationals. My team placed in the top 10 for the second year in a row. Galway has gotten so involved in this extraordinary club and its helped our school grow. If you aren’t a member yet, you definitely should join! See Mrs. Levine if you have any questions!
