“The Woman in Black”
Review by Jennica Nash, Ciara Aulds, and Kennedy Kerins
Jennica—
In my opinion it was the best movie trip ever! It’s not all that scary of a movie, however it’s a jumpy movie. There was one point when the girls sitting in front of Kennedy and me jumped and their popcorn went all over us; the whole theater was staring at us dying of laughter. The movie itself is about a young man who is played by Daniel Radcliffe, who has to write a report on a woman who has passed. He went to her house to get all of her paperwork, to find mysterious things happening in a old cursed village. The house is the worst, he is trapped there at night because the tide covers the road. This is definitely a movie you should go see, if you go see it though I suggest to hold on to your popcorn!
Ciara—
“The Woman in Black” isn’t very scary, but it more of a thriller. It definitely made me jump out of my skin. The fact that Daniel Radcliffe was in the movie never attracted me to seeing it, and it could have been any other actor playing the part because I don’t think he did much for it. The creepy monkeys on the hand couldn’t have been better…
Kennedy–
“The Woman In Black” was a very good movie, not so much a horror movie though. It wasn’t scary, but it had a lot of moments where it goes quiet and normal, then BAM out of nowhere something pops out. It’s more so a thriller movie, and a great one too. Parts of the movie were intense, but then others were just too confusing. The plot of the movie was kind of hard to understand, but once you think about it, it’s understandable. Lol. The people in the movie didn’t say much but they didn’t have to, just their actions, emotions and what was going on around them made it perfect! The ending of the movie was questionable though… I have no idea. I think the director didn’t know how to end the movie, he seemed to rush through it and not think enough for it. Ending = disappointing, but the whole movie was definitely two thumbs up! I’m definitely watching it again!:D<3
Did you see this movie yet? What did you think? (And don’t give away the ending!)

Jennica, I’m thrilled that a thirty second conversation in the hall resulted in this and in such a timely fashion!
