As a kid in school, Mr. Burman enjoyed playing and practicing many sports such as rugby, football, tennis, and shot put. Mr. Burman also enjoyed doing lots of clubs. It seemed like history club was his favorite but he also did a Latin club, a French club, and a Quiz Bowl, all at Bethlehem school, right outside Albany.

Now as an adult, Mr. Burman likes to enjoy his free time by hiking, watching West Wing (a show inspired by politics). He also likes the movie The Godfather, a mafia drama. He said if he could go anywhere in the world, he would go to a lot of the more western national parks, such as Yellowstone, to hike.

When at home, Mr. Burman enjoys the company of his beagle dog Spruce, a cat name Althea, and his wife.
