Dear book worms.
I’m sorry for the delay. I’ve been deep in the witch kingdom and high in the White Fang mountains, along with exploring the worlds of cyber security with hackers who shan’t be named. But I haven’t spent the time between these reckless adventures to write about how much I truly enjoyed them. However I have reached into the deep pockets of the satchel thrown over my shoulder to write this brief summary of one of my FAVORITE stories for when the ordinary world just gets too… What do you call it? ‘Boring’? Anyway the title is Crown of Midnight by Sarah J. Maas. In this book the main character Celaena {the king’s recently pronounced champion} receives intel that her target may be involved in a rebel group… better yet? SHE KNOWS THE MAN! Her endeavor to find candor and the new found loyalty to her closest of companions from both the past and present sends her to spiral into a network of both romantic and clandestine matters. But she only falls deeper into the heartbreak inspired depression when she discovers her best friend MURDERED. This only pushes her over the edge to the point where she has no other choice but to tackle the shadows within and rediscover her TRUE IDENTITY…
With love and despair {the latter directed to the enigmatic Chaol}
I wish you luck on your travels through Adarlan. The adventures there are intriguing.
