Danny Colandro majored in business. He owns his own construction company and he is very successful. He has a wife and two young girls, ages 3 and 5.  He also has a passion.  In 1996 he realized he wanted to record his own music. He is now known as Italiano Calabrese.The first song he wrote was “Connecticut We Get.” He was 22 when he released his first song. Naz, KRS1, Wu Tang and Buck Shot inspire him to keep going in the music business. To write his music he is inspired by life experiences. His favorite song that he has written is “Now or Never” because it’s about his life struggles in the music business. His latest album is Now or Never and it came out at the beginning of November.

He was nominated for most original hip hop artist 2012 in the Underground Music Awards, and he was nominated in the Holla Back Video Music Awards for artist of the year, video of the year and song of the year.  One of his more popular songs is “Stamford High Anthem.”
