GALWAY–Are you planning on wearing a costume for Halloween this year? Well why not wear your costume to school all day for a chance to win prizes?! Prizes will be awarded to the first and second place winners of the costume contest. First place will receive a basket of Halloween treats which also includes 2 free games of Lazer Tag at Adirondack Fun Factory’s new Lazer Tag arena on Route 30 in Amsterdam. Second place will be awarded a small basket including 1 free lazer tag ticket. This would normally cost you $7 per ticket, but why pay for something you could be given for free?

Would you want to drive all the way to Albany or Queensbury in order to play a decent game of Lazer Tag and use up your gas getting there and back? Or would you rather drive a short 10-20 minutes to Route 30 to play in a brand new Lazer Tag arena? The choice is yours. The Adirondack Fun Factory is locally owned and operated and is hoping to bring in a new group of people through this addition to the mini-golf course and driving range.

The Adirondack Fun Factory also has an arcade, food, ice cream, and beverages. Another new addition is the Birthday Party Room. Have a Lazer Tag birthday party and you will receive a free t-shirt.

The Grand Opening of Lazer Tag is October 21^st and the hours are: Fridays 6-11 PM, Saturdays 12-11 PM, and Sundays 12-6 PM. There will be special hours of operation that The Fun Factory will be open including: Thursday November 10^th, and Friday November 11^th. • Please remember that all school rules remain in effect during the day and costumes must be appropriate for school which means they must not represent or refer to illicit activity including as drugs, alcohol, or sex. 
• Masks will not be allowed and students should not bring any costume props that could be considered dangerous or seriously disruptive to the school day.  
• Please have fun with the costume contest; be creative and be responsible. 
• Anyone wearing a costume that is deemed inappropriate for school may be asked to change or be sent home for the day.
