Not many people know her by her birth name Alecia Beth Moore but by her stage name Pink. Pink is a singer songwriter, musician, and actress. She released her first single in 2000 “There You Go” from her first album Can’t Take Me Home. In 2001 she released her second album Missundaztood. The album had the hits “Get the Party Started”  and “Who Knew”. During November in 2003 she released her third album Try This.  The album earned Pink a Grammy Award for Best Female Rock Vocal Performance. During 2006 she released her fourth album known as I’m Not Dead which produced the hits “Stupid Girls” and “Who Knew”. She followed up with her album release in 2008 Funhouse. Funhouse was inspired by her seperation with Carey Hart. The album produced her lead single “So What”. The album also produced three other top singles “Sober”, “Please Don’t Leave Me” and “Glitter In The Air”. In November of 2010 pink released her first complation album Greastest Hits…So Far!!!. the album featured her biggest career hits as well as the lead hits “Raise You Glass” and “Perfect”. Pink took a short hiatus to give birth to her daughter Willow. After Willow’s birth she released her sixth studio album, the Truth About Love. The album sold more than 280,000 sopies in the first week. The lead single on the album, “Blow Me One Last Kiss” reachyed number five on the billboard Hot 100. She has sold over 40 million albums and 70 million singles worldwide. This makes her one of the best-selling artists in history. Pink has recieved 3 Grammy Awards, 2 Brit Awards, and 5 MTV Music Video Awars. She also has 18 Top 20 Hits on the Billboard charts. She was named the number one pop musician of the decade in 2009 and in 2012.  VH1 named Pink number 10 of their list of 100 Greatest Women in Music.
