The movie is based around Toby Frost, who is played by Denzel Washington. He is an ex-CIA NOC operative who turned into an international criminal. He acquires a data storage device from a rogue MI6 agent Alec Wade who is played by Liam Cunningham. They are attacked by a team of mercenaries led by Vargas, who is played by Fares Fares, Wade is killed and Frost is forced to surrender himself to the American consulate in Cape Town, South Africa. Frost is then transferred to a local safe house maintained by “housekeeper” Matt Weston, played by Ryan Reynolds, a low-level agent. Weston watched agent Daniel Kiefer, played by Robert Patrick, begin to interrogate Frost using waterboarding. After that, thing go downhill in the safe house.

The movie made a profit of $202,482,728 according to the box office. The movie has earned mixed reviews from critics. The critics praised solid performance by both Ryan Reynolds and Denzel Washington.

To tell if the movie is a buy, rent or not even bother, this movie is very much for the people who like action movies and a lot of gun fights. Even though it has mixed reviews, the average was a lower score of 4-5 out of 10, which is not the best. My personal score for this movie is a 6/10 because it was a great movie. Again, if you like action, this is for you.
