The Raven Boys

The Raven Boys

The Raven Boys was written by Maggie Stiefvater. Maggie Stiefvater, the bestselling and acclaimed author of the Shiver trilogy and The Scorpio Races, comes a spellbinding new series where the inevitability of death and the nature of love lead us to a place we’ve never been before. It is the first in the series known as The Raven Cycle. The genre is young adult paranormal.

The main protagonists are Blue Sargent and Richard Gansey the Third. Blue is the daughter of a psychic that lives in Henrietta, Virginia. For as long as Blue can remember she was told that if she ever kisses her true love, he will die. Blue has come to has a policy of staying away from Aglionby boys also known as Raven boys, they can only mean trouble.

Gansey is a rick student at Aglionby, a local private school. Gansey has everything, but he’s looking for more than that. He’s on a quest to locate a long-dead Welsh king named Glendower by using the mystical lay lines that run all over the world. His search has leaded him to Henrietta, Virginia.

This book was amazing there were so many twists I was surprised by it. I can’t wait for the next book to appear in stores or the library. This book is defiantly a five out of five, and this book I recommend to everyone.
