Eagle Eye A Seasons Review

Eagle Eye A Seasons Review

By: Mariah Hayes

The 2012-2013 interns have been working on the new sports magazine called the Eagle Eye A Seasons Review. The Eagle Eye is showcasing the fall varsity sports. This past fall sports season has been a great season for Galway. The boys’ soccer, girls’ soccer, girls’ volleyball and cross country teams all made it very far in their endeavors. Each team has played their hardest and did their best. There are pages for each sports team in the magazine as well as a section for 2012 fall athletes. The middle page is in color and it shows the spirit and the cover is also in color too. You can preorder your magazine today for only $7.50.

Where do you preorder? Well you can preorder outside of the E-way Cafe and outside of B and C lunch from Monday the 19th to Wednesday the 21st or at the soccer banquet.

The two interns who have been the master minds behind the whole project are Paige Galloway Hammond and Jessica Demarest. I interviewed Paige the other day and she really loves the Eagle Eye. When I asked her how did you name the Eagle Eye and she told me that during intern bonding at a open house in the beginning of the year and someone said it and we just ran with it. I also asked what the point of the magazine was and she said that it shows that Galway has a lot of pride and it shows that Galway is meaningful. When I asked what the coolest part of the magazine is, she said that she got to see the project from start to end. And also saw an idea turn to be be final print. She said that the color page is the homecoming game and the reason why they put it in color is to to show that everyone has a lot of pride and really supports Galway. Also she would like to thank me and Grace Milton for the great pictures and also thank the writers who helped.
