Super Bowl 51 has the Patriots taking on the Falcons. This is Tom Brady’s 7TH Super Bowl appearance in his career. This is only the Falcon’s 2nd Super Bowl in their franchise history. I think the Falcons will win and I’m looking forward to my family’s tradition.  We all choose something to cook and we spend time in the kitchen before the game is on.   Then, while the big game is on, we have a big party and eat all the food. 7th grader  Anna Meisenburg thinks the New England Patriots will win AGAIN.  Her family does “Commercial Bingo” for a fun activity during the game.  She explained, “You take a Bingo board and in the squares you put a product you think will be featured in a commercial and the first person to have the products they predicted featured in a row across, down, or horizontal wins.”  Olivia VanVorse’s family only has a big party with tons of company and food when the Giants are in playing in the big event–not this year, Olivia! She is a good sport though and has selected the Falcons for the win this Superbowl.  Cody Wilson is anxious to see how the commercials will out-do last year’s Mountain Dew puppy-monkey-baby.  Isabella Hart, who is rooting for the Falcons, said she enjoys watching the Puppy Bowl.   Other students said their family does a fun pool for each quarter of the game.  Most students said they are looking forward to the chips, the wings, the soda , the pizza plus the fun of hanging out with friends and family members.
